14 Apr Walking Football Success in Weston Super Mare
On Saturday 11th April Enfield Town Walking Footballers were invited to field a team and take on our friends from Weston Super Mare before the Mens 1st team league fixture.
Our team was drawn from our regular in-house sessions that run every Monday evening & Saturday morning. The results were outstanding:-
Game 1: 3-1 win
Game 2: 3-0 win
Game 3: 1-0 win
A fantastic gland slam victory and a brilliant day representing our club!
Our Walking Football sessions are open to all men & women over 50 (with some leeway for those over 40). Its a relaxed, social enjoyable way to stay active & costs just £2 pay-as-you-go. The sessions take place at the 3g pitch in Donkey Lane Saturdays 8.45-10.15am & Mondays 7-8pm.
